The Goals & Vision for CD7

From the 2025 CD 7 Chair

I believe in Servant Leadership. It is my job to provide direction and resources to the TEAM, so you can be successful. I am not a micromanager, but if you need a sounding board, I’m always available. When you Chair a committee, minutes or notes should be kept to preserve a record for the next committee chair.

A 2026 Republican trifecta is my goal. I want to use a Precinct Strategy to accomplish that. That strategy is nothing more than you contacting your neighbors to get them involved. I ask each individual to bring in one new person to actively participate in your local BPOU by the end of 2025.

Keeping in mind that electing Republicans in CD 7 is the priority, I have a “210 Plan.” The counties north of highway 210 would converge on Moorhead to assist Clay County to win SD 4 & HD 4A. This would be in conjunction with what the current committee is doing already.

Every county south of 210 would adopt a House District where the Republican can actually win. Those HDs are: 14B, 35B, 48B & 54A; those races were under a 200 vote difference.

I want to use our website as a place to go to get information, learn and share “best practices.” We will make a 3-part video on Parliamentary procedures: beginner, intermediate, & advanced.

There will be a documents section where you can find templates on Constitutions, Bylaws, Caucus, How to conduct a convention, Agenda & Minutes outlines, BPOU meetings, County Fair, parades, Committee Chair, etc.

I would like to see a Compliance committee whose responsibility it is to check to make sure that our Constitution & Bylaws are compliant with the law and a means for Republicans in CD 7 to submit and have issues addressed.
